Eastern Transportation is dedicated to maintaining and exceeding the highest level of safety requirements. We provide exception training for all employees in safety standards. All drivers must adhere to strict regulations:
Safety Gear:

• Steel toe shoes
• Warning vest
• Hard hat
• Eye protection
• Petroleum proof work gloves

Requirements:

• All drivers must attend quarterly training that is mandatory by DOT
• Must have CDL Class A minimum
• HM Endorsements (Hazmat)

Delivery:

• Pre-trip inspection of truck to make sure that all is compliant before starting day
• Post trip inspection to make sure that truck is ready for the next day or driver on duty
• Safety cones and wheel chucks used before off-loading fuel
• Inspection of tank being delivered to, check product, stick tank for levels
• Never fill past 90% capacity of tank
• Hands on fueling at all times. When fueling the drivers hand will always be on nozzle to make sure they have full control of delivering product
